Mitsubishi Triton At A Quick Glance
I am not a fans of any 4WD pickup trucks. Everytime I passed by any roadshow of any brand of new pickup, I will not stop by to have a look at it. I don’t know why but I think maybe its because I don’t need this type of vehicle yet or my mind keep on telling me that this only meant for jungle.

But my dad is. He is a crazy fans of any 4WD car. He told me that, nowadays the pickup has changed its design trend towards a more comfortable vehicle to cater for all individual needs. Well, I don’t believe it at first. To me, a truck still is a truck and cannot compare to sedan cars in terms of comfortability. But till I saw this Mitsubishi Triton during a roadshow at Endah Parade, Seri Petaling, my mind is changed..

The sales guy invited me to sit inside this Triton. I did and it was splendidly comfortable. The interior is so spacious. You can roll here and there without any problem. It has a modern design cockpit with digitized information where it can shows clock, travel data, fuel consumption, compass, barometer, altimeter, temperature and etc.

The tyre is big enough to scare you away..haha. Actually it is just 16 inch but wrapped with a very thick rubber, 265/70R. It will cost you around RM 400 - 500 per piece according to the sales guy.Â

Ahh.. this is the auto transmission (left)Â and 4WD gear knob (right). You will get a 4WD mode when you pull the gear down.

The price?
Its just only RM 91,782.00 for the top model. Have you ever seen a pickup with a back cover at the rear for storage compartment? The sales guy told me that will cost an additional RM 4000+.
So, what do you think about this car? Is it nice? Consider affordable?
Hey, im a Triton freak ok? HAHA! The truck is superb and is very powerful. Took it for a test drive towards Genting few months ago and it was fully loaded with family members. I felt in love with this baby up till today, and thnking of getting one in 2 years time. Dont know still have this design, maybe better one will come.
One thing that I dont like is when driving the Triton on long distance, especially highways, very uncomfortable due to the front seats! Other than that, everything is perfect!
I’m into trucks, man. Its the best vehicle to drive in Malaysia especially when there are potholes, floods, dead animals, or idiots driving on the roads! HAHAH!
